FIRST MAJOR BODYBUILDING FILM SINCE SCHWARZENEGGER'S
"PUMPING IRON" KICKS OFF WORLDWIDE TALENT SEARCH
"No Pain, No Gain" with Gold's Gym and Charles Atlas
Seeks Hard Bodies to be Part of Film and Bodybuilding History
SAN JOSE, Calif., September 16, 2003 - "No Pain, No Gain," the first
major feature film focused on the art of bodybuilding since "Pumping
Iron," the 1977 classic documentary that launched the career of
Arnold Schwarzenegger, opens a worldwide talent search for physically
fit people to appear in a major scene of the film, it was announced
today by producer/director Samuel Turcotte. Sponsored by Gold's Gym
and the Charles Atlas Corporation, the talent search will run through
October 3, 2003 and is open to men and women of all ages, sizes and
shapes, including bodybuilders, fitness and figure models and

Submissions are being accepted online or by mail.
The talent search will be judged by Turcotte, "No Pain, No Gain" star
and renowned bodybuilder Gus Malliarodakis and the film's co-star and
IFBB Pro bodybuilder Dennis Newman. The panel of judges will choose
21 finalists in seven different categories, including male
bodybuilding, male fitness, female bodybuilding, female fitness,
female figure and male/female other, who will be invited to audition
in person. The winners and finalists will be cast as featured extras
with a number of others cast as background extras. In addition, the
winners and finalists will have their picture and profile featured on
the "No Pain, No Gain" website and will receive various prizes from
the talent search sponsors.

said Turcotte.

bodybuilder Gus Malliarodakis as Mike Zorillo, a highly intelligent
former state champion bodybuilder who has become obsessed with his
scientific research and, has consequently let his world-class
